Understanding the Body: Physical Anatomy & Movement

This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and practitioners interested in strengthening their knowledge of physical anatomy and kinesiology in yoga. This workshop will include basic information on human structure, physical anatomy, and biomechanics for yoga. Skill practice will include building knowledge of the physical and subtle body as well as how these are affected through yoga movement through observation and movement. Class will include some lecture, discussion, and guided practice (including movement, breathing, and meditation). Yoga Alliance CEUs will be available for participation in this training.
